Steel frame assembly with mechanical components
In one recent project, we fabricated a structural steel frame and completed full mechanical assembly. Our team leveraged a combination of CNC machining, waterjet cutting, welding, and laser tube cutting services to build both gray and black steel frames. After fabrication, we installed customer-supplied hardware, including:
Casters and floor locks
360-degree rotating components
Safety engravings
Wheels and a hydraulic pump
The hydraulic pump was shipped directly to our facility, where we installed and tested it to verify performance before shipment.
Stainless steel cabinet assembly for chemical processing
In another example, we produced a large stainless steel cabinet for one of our customers in the chemical processing industry.
This project required advanced fabrication, laser cutting, and welding services to create a watertight structure. A rubber gasket system required all welds to be sealed to protect the cabinet’s interior.
After fabrication, we completed hardware insertion, including multiple PEM fasteners, and assembled the cabinet with customer-supplied components. These cabinets stood seven to eight feet tall and required significant floor space for staging and handling. As a full-service fabrication shop, CAMM Metals has the capacity to store large units such as these safely until they’re ready to ship.
